The Grand American Rolex Sports Car Series is a sports car racing league featuring production sports cars racing alongside specialty prototypes. These prototypes are known as Daytona Prototypes, after the league's endurance race the 24 Hours of Daytona. The league was established in 2000 as a replacement for the United States Road Racing Championship, which itself was created out of the demise of IMSA GT. The other prestigious race the Rolex Series has is the 6 Hours of Watkins Glen.

Daytona Prototypes are similar to Le Mans Prototypes, but differ in technology and are closed-cockpit as opposed to the LMP's open-cockpit format.

The league uses the format of the IMSA GT Series.
